Objective:
To offer local government professionals a space for replenishment and reflection, providing them with new strategies to build resilience, manage stress, and enhance their effectiveness
Overview:
In recent years, the role of local government professionals, particularly those tasked with public engagement, has become more demanding than ever. Persistent burnout, rapid changes in community needs, escalating uncertainty, and growing divisiveness have placed immense strain on individuals and teams. Many local government leaders find themselves reacting to crises, overwhelmed by the constant pressure, and unable to reconnect with the values and goals that originally inspired their work.
This session aims to help break this cycle by offering a reset that re-establishes a deeper connection with personal purpose, introduces practices to support mental well-being, and provides tools to approach community engagement with renewed energy and vision.

A registration deadline of 6 days prior to the course. The attendee must register and have the course paid for (or have payment in process) prior to 6 days before the course starts.


Anyone cancelling within 6 days prior to the course forfeits their registration fee. The Chief Staff Officer and Education Committee Chair will have the discretion to offer future credit for another course for extenuating circumstances.
