To be an Elected Officer of the Association, a person must be a Full iGO Member in good standing. All candidates for Office must be nominated by a Member or Alumni Member as outlined in the iGO Policies and Procedures.


WHEN ARE THE UPCOMING ELECTIONS?
  • Elections will take place on June 23, 2025 at the Annual Conference.

  • Hours for voting shall be for a period of at least four (4) hours, the time for which shall be determined by the Conference Elections Committee.
WHERE WILL THE ELECTIONS TAKE PLACE?
  • Elections for Officers will be conducted at the  iGO Annual Conference in Kansas City, Missouri USA in the manner prescribed by the iGO Policies and Procedures.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO VOTE IN THE ELECTIONS?
  • All Full, Deputy, and Retired iGO Members in good standing are eligible to vote in the elections.

  • Eligible iGO Members may vote by absentee ballot or in person at the Annual Conference.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO BE A CANDIDATE?
  • Only Full iGO Members in good standing are eligible to hold elected Office on the iGO Board of Directors.

  • Aspiring officers must submit their Declaration of Candidacy  by June 22, 2025 to be a iGO Board Candidate.
HOW DO I FILE FOR CANDIDACY?
  • Download and fill out a Declaration of Candidacy .

  • File the form with Tony J. Sirvello, Consultant/Assistant to the Chair of the Conference Elections Committee:

  • The deadline for filing a Declaration of Candidacy  is June 22, 2025 .
HOW ARE NEW OFFICIALS APPOINTED?
  • The candidate receiving the most votes for an Office shall be declared by the current iGO President to be elected to that Office.

  • Following the conclusion of the 2025 iGO Annual Conference all newly elected officials will be added to the iGO website.
